차이문신

Seoul-based tattoo artist Tchaimoonsin studied design at Hongik University before starting tattooing in 2025. Her work is inspired by vintage, old-school and Western moods. She focuses on detailed, realistic designs with a small touch of fun.

서울에서 활동하는 타투이스트 차이문신입니다. 홍익대학교에서 디자인을 전공한 후, 2025년부터 타투를 시작했습니다. 빈티지, 올드스쿨, 웨스턴 무드에서 영감을 받아 디테일하고 사실적인 디자인을 합니다. 너무 진지하지만은 않은 작은 재미를 더한 스타일을 추구합니다.

How painful is getting a tattoo?

타투 얼마나 아픈가요?

Pain depends on the person and the body area. Some people feel almost nothing, and some feel strong pain and may need breaks or stop.

통증은 사람마다, 그리고 부위마다 다릅니다. 거의 안 아픈 분도 있고, 너무 아파서 중간에 쉬거나 중단하는 경우도 있어요. 하지만, 대부분 어느정도의 통증은 있다고 생각해주세요.

How long does it take?

작업은 얼마나 걸리나요?

It depends on the size and the design. My work has a lot of detail, so it usually takes longer than people expect. Please plan for at least 6+ hours. If we can’t finish in one day, we may split it into 2–3 sessions.

작업 시간은 디자인과 크기에 따라 달라지는데, 제 작업은 디테일이 많아 시간이 오래 걸리는 편입니다. 보통 최소 6시간 이상이 소요됩니다. 당일에 끝나지 않는 경우, 2~3회로 나눠 진행할 수 있습니다.

Can I get the 2nd or 3rd session right away?

2차, 3차는 바로 할 수 있나요?

Not right away. Your skin needs time to heal. The next session is usually possible after about 3 weeks. Tattooing on unhealed skin can increase the risk of infection and other problems.

바로는 어렵습니다. 피부가 회복되는 최소 기간이 필요해서 다음 세션은 보통 3주 이후에 가능합니다. 덜 회복된 상태에서 진행하면 감염 등 위험이 커질 수 있어요.
